Pollen ("we", "our", "us") is a product of Elytron Labs, operated by Sincero Ventures LLP. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and how we protect it.
When you install Pollen, we access your store data through platform APIs (Shopify, WooCommerce) with the permissions you grant during installation. This includes:
When you sign in to Pollen with an identity provider (Google, GitHub, or others we add), we store your email address, name, and avatar from that provider. This is used solely to sign you in and to link your store(s) to one account - never sold or shared. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard ("Delete my Pollen account"); this removes your email, identities, and store links. Deleting your account does not delete store data - each store has its own "Disconnect & erase data" action for that.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except:
Hive is a cross-store benchmark: pseudonymized catalog signals (titles, types, tags, category, readiness signals, barcodes - never your store domain or any identifier that ties a contribution back to you) are aggregated so merchants can see how their catalog compares to their category.
We retain your data for as long as the app is installed. For Shopify users, when you uninstall Pollen, we delete all stored data within 30 days in compliance with Shopify's data protection requirements. For WooCommerce users, data is retained until you request deletion by contacting us.
You can at any time:
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure token storage, and access controls. Tokens are stored server-side and never exposed to client-side code.
